Friday Fresh Links and June 2008 Earnings and Traffic Report

The Are you an Aspiring Blogger? contest has come to an end, though i am still accepting entries as I will be announcing it only on the next edition of Friday Fresh Links.
I thought it is about time I told my readers what my traffic stats and revenue stats for June 2008 looked like as many of them have been curious to find out.
Traffic Stats
June traffic was better than May but not as good as April. Let me just compare May and June stats for now.
Total Visits: 9000+ (4000 in May)
Page Views: 40,000+ (6000 in May)
Page Views/Visitor: 4.99
Alexa rank: 173k from 360k
RSS Readers: 90 from 20
No PR as yet, so I am eagerly waiting for the next PR update atleast to brag about it. My Technorati rank is still around the 180k mark, so i am guessing that will take a while to go up. I am very impressed by the Page views per visitor stat as that actually tells me that every visitor is scanning through my site, checking out the different categories etc which is a good sign in the long term run. Also, from an advertising point of view, I charge just $15 for the 125×125 Ads and with 40,000 page views which comes to like 37 cents per 1000 impressions itself. So value for money for the advertisers. I have only 1 spot left which i reserved for the Contest winner, and as you can see all other spots have been sold. And, talking of earnings…..
Earnings Report
May, I earned absolutely nothing mainly due to the fact that i was busy enjoying my holiday in Europe and so did not find time to make posts which in turn got me very less traffic and resulted in no money. My other site Reel Suave could have got me a lot but I just did not get the time.
Affiliate sales: $20
Hostgator Affiliate: $50
Paid Review: $25
Tech Suave Direct Ad Sales: $125
Reel Suave Direct Ad Sales: $475
Grand Total: $695
The bulk of the earnings was from Reel Suave. Someone was kind enough to buy a wordpress theme from one of the themes I had reviewed and that was the $20 sale I made. Also, was able to convince someone into buying a Hostgator web hosting and he has been quite happy with it too.
This week the Direct Advertising Series Part 2 should be posted as well as the Final part of the Techie Tips Series. I am launching a New Music Site, so will mention about that also soon.

Nice stats man, I like being able to see what other blogs and bringing in every month. It helps keep me motivated! I was wondering how long have you been running your two blogs?

I have been running TechSuave for like 2.5 months in which in May there wasnt any updates as I was on holiday.
Reelsuave has been running for more than 7months now

Good stats and income.
about Google PR. I have high doubt about its algorithm
on Oct-Nov 07 when PR updated. here’s my site stats
Index = 1 (that page said underconstruction)
Back Link = 10
Domain Age = 3 months
PR = 0 update to 3
that’s so unreasonable, imho.
After I officially open my site and Google update again, I got PR4 (but lack of visitors lol).

Thanks for the link again but I notice that you don’t reset your top commentator for the last 2 months, don’t you? Of course, it does give me an advantage over the rest but I still think the playing field is not level.
BTW, nice stats for a 2.5-month blog. I wish you more in the coming month.

If you can keep up the level of concentration you will do even better.
Seems to me there is a threshold that you can cross where you your progress becomes exponential. Wish I had your dedication…..
